Classes and Ensembles
Private Lessons
When you sign up for private lesson instruction you can be assured of plenty of individual attention and focus. Each lesson involves elements of music instruction, music reading, sight reading, technique, and artistry training. Private lessons begin at $31 for half an hour and $51 per hour. As you grow on your instrument, ensemble opportunities will become available. We offer a variety of instruments (see list above)


Community Choir
This ensemble is open to people from all walks of life. No experience is necessary. This choir performs a variety of music. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7pm-9pm at The Music Note. Cost: $15 a week or $225 for the semester.
Handbell Ensemble
Handbells are a musical instrument consisting of tuned bells played individually often by a group of ringers. The Music Note's Handbell Choir performs on two five octave sets of Schulmerich Handbells, a five octave set of Whitechapel Handbells, a 2 octave set of Schulmerich Silver Melody Bells, 3 octaves of bell plates, 5 octaves of Schulmerich Handchimes, and 3 octaves of Malmark Choir Chimes. This ensemble rehearses on Monday evening s for 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. No ringing experience is necessary and all are welcome! Cost: $15 a week or $225 for the semester.




Mommy and Me Classes
Designed for children 0-5 years old, these music classes encourage your child to be creative, to imitate their own ideas, and to respond to music in their own way. You will be an active participant, which gives them the security they need. By playing instruments, singing, moving, and by exploring, your child will uncover an engaging musical world while building their confidence, self-control, and communication skills. Classes are drop in. Cost is $15 a class or unlimited classes for $60 a month. Classes meet on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
