My Story
Brendan Duffy is a classically trained tenor and music educator based in Pittsburgh, PA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and studied vocal performance and music education at Ithaca College. Brendan is certified to teach music K–12 in Pennsylvania.
His vocal training includes work with acclaimed tenor Dr. David Parks, Grammy-winning soloist Dr. Dann Coakwell, and Dr. Mary Logan-Hastings, former coloratura soprano of the Nationaltheater Mannheim.
Brendan has performed at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in The Exquisite Hour: MusIC of Love and Rapture, appeared with the Johnstown and Altoona Symphony Orchestras, and shared the stage with Andrea Bocelli as a member of the IUP Chorale. He also serves as a judge for the International Competition of Collegiate and High School A Cappella.
