Mr. Charlie Alves

Charlie, originally from Tallahassee, Florida, holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Music and a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Sciences from Florida State University. He further pursued his passion for music with a Master’s in Music Performance Penn State University. Throughout his career, Charlie has performed with prestigious ensembles such as the Tallahassee Symphony, Cheyenne Symphony, and Johnstown Symphony. Now residing in Pittsburgh, he enjoys freelancing and teaching violin, viola, and cello at The Music Note, as well as offering lessons online via Zoom.
